Since 1978, Richard Hoover has been crafting guitars in the traditional way, all by hand, and all by trained master luthiers. These instruments are crafted in the time honored methods and it shows in their tone. They take the time to hand carve bracing and pick just the right tonewoods to enhance the shape of the particular guitar. You may never get a chance to play an old seasoned guitar from the pre-war era, but you can own a new guitar that shares the tone and attention to detail you only get with a small builder. Richard has no hopes of building the most guitars, only to build the best.
